BT - Somnambulist (Simply Being Loved)

Somnambulist (Simply Being Loved) is a song by Brian Transeau, better known as BT, that was released as a single on March 20, 2003. The track quickly became the most successful track from the album Emotional Technology, and one of Transeau's biggest commercial hits.

JC Chasez contributed with background vocals for this song.

The song was entered into the Guinness Book of World Records in 2003 for the largest number of vocal edits in a song (6,178 BIAS Peak edits.)

The album debuted at number one on the Billboard Electronic Albums chart.

The unmixed version of the song was featured in the North American music video game Dance Dance Revolution Extreme for the PlayStation 2. In the game the song was cut from its original version to roughly a minute and a half in length to fit the standard play length for songs in the DDR series. The main title of the song was displayed as "Simply Being Loved" with "Somnambulist" as the subtitle.
