Album Review: Ashlee Simpson - Bittersweet World

"Bittersweet World" is the third studio album by singer Ashlee Simpson. It is scheduled for release in the United States on 22 April 2008. Simpson worked on the album with producers Timbaland, Chad Hugo, and Kenna. It has been described by Simpson as a "fun party album" with a "silly and quirky" side and some influence from 1980s music. She has also described it as having a more beat-oriented sound than her first two albums, "Autobiography" and "I Am Me", although still retaining some of those albums' guitar-based sound.

Single Of The Day: Ashlee Simpson - L.O.V.E.

American recording artist Ashlee Simpson released "L.O.V.E." as her second single from her second studio album "I Am Me" on 6 December 2005 under Geffen Records. She recorded this dance-rock song at Henson Recording Studio.

This song supposed to be the lead single for her "I Am Me", but "Boyfriend" took its place as the lead single. It was written by Ashlee Simpson with Kara DiGuardi and John Shanks. This song is about female friendship, especially when there is a girl among the girlgroup just had her brokenhearted and girlfriends always there to help her, there is no need men around them.

"L.O.V.E." is like mixed between Britney Spears' "Do Somethin'" and Gwen Stefani's "Hollaback Girl" and producing party track that's sure become a dancefloor filler.
