Song Of The Day: Kerry Katona - Whole Again

"Whole Again" is a song by British recorded artist Kerry Katona. Actually, this song was released as single with her band, Atomic Kitten, but this version only features Kerry's vocal and included on Atomic Kitten's debut album version of Japan. This pop song was written Andy McCluskey with Stuart Kershaw, Jem Godfrey and Bill Padley.

Single Of Yesterday: Atomic Kitten - Whole Again

British pop girl group Atomic Kitten released a pop song "Whole Again" as their official single on 29 January 2001 under Virgin Records as CD single and cassette single. This beautiful pop song was written by Bill Padley, Stuart Kershaw, Jem Godfrey and Andy McCluskey. Following the departure of Kerry Katona, she was replaced a few days later by Jenny Frost, just after the single reached #1 in the U.K. As a result, the music video was reshot and Jenny Frost's vocals appeared on the reissue of "Right Now".

The music video for "Whole Again" was filmed on a very small budget due to the commercial failure of previous single "Follow Me". It features the girls singing in front of a plain white background. The original version of the video includes Kerry Katona, who had left the group just before the song's release. Much of the video was subsequently reshot to feature new member Jenny Frost.

As a result of the single's huge success in many international markets, a second music video was filmed for the U.S. release with a much larger budget. This version features the three girls walking through the streets in Downtown Los Angeles and walking out into the countryside, gradually picking up more people along the way. The video ends with the camera zooming out on the field for Atomic Kitten's old logo is invisible in a shape of a kitten. The U.S. single release never materialised in the wake of the September 11 attacks, but the video can often be seen on British music television channels.

Single Review: Atomic Kitten - Whole Again

"Whole Again" was the single by U.K. Girl Band, Atomic Kitten. It was peaked number 1, this is the original version featuring Kerry Katona. However, she left the group several days prior to the number-one position because of her pregnancy. The video was remade when Jenny Frost was added to the line-up as a replacement. The video included the girls in a variety of ever-changing outfits.
