Single Review: Lene Nystrøm - It's Your Duty

Norwegian recording artist Lene Nystrøm released "It's Your Duty" as her debut solo single on 8 September 2003 under Polydor Records. This song was influenced with R&B and pop, just to make a new image of Lene from bubblegum pop when she was member on Aqua to R&B style with mature contains.

Lene wrote this song along with Karen Poole and Lucas Secon for her debut studio album "Play With Me" which was released on 21 September 2003 under Polydor Records. This single was peaked at #3 on the Danish Tracklisten Singles Chart and at #9 on the Scandinavian Sverigetopplistan Singles Chart.

Album Review: Lene Nystrøm - Play With Me

Lene Nystrom Rasted is best known as the lead vocalist for pop-dance group Aqua. In 2003, Lene released her first and only album, "Play With Me", which performed poorly in Scandinavia, making only number 74 in the Norwegian charts. This lacklustre performance did not affect her single sales though. "It's Your Duty" peaked at number 3 in Denmark followed by 2004's "Pretty Young Thing", another potential hit. Pretty Young Thing is a cover of Stella Soleil's song, and Here We Go is a cover of Moonbaby's song.

Single Review: Lene - Pretty Young Thing

Polydor Records released a pop song from Aqua member Lene Nystrom's solo "Pretty Young Thing" as her official second single on 16 February 2004. This song was written by Stella Katsoudas, Steve Torch and Walter Turbitt. At that time, Lene was closer with ex Westlife member, Brian McFadden and he was so young than Lene self.
