German singer Mike Leon Grosch released "Wonderful Tonight" for his debut studio album "Absolute" on 26 May 2006. Mike bring a little touch of pop with absolute soft rock to his version. "Wonderful Tonight" is originaly a song from Eric Clapton and he wrote this song by hisself. Mike Leon Grosch who came to fame as the runner up of the third season of the television show Deutschland sucht den SuperStar, the German version of Pop Idol. In early March 2007 Grosch admitted to Bild, the biggest German daily tabloid, that Sony BMG would not continue their existing record contract with him and thus was being dropped. He also stated that so far no other record label had showed interest in working with him.
Despite he's not exist anymore on international music industry. Mike's version of "Wonderful Tonight" is quite so sexy soft rock and very romantic. Still, "Wonderful Tonight" is a famous song and without left the original of the meaning and the mark of this song, Mike's version is nice!
