We have a brand new The Mary Onettes single coming out soon - "The Night Before The Funeral". The songs pick up where the album ended; epic soundscapes and big orchestral arrangements, but the sounds is brighter and more aerial. A bit like a descendant of The Go Betweens and The Stone Roses high on Swedish mountains mixed with A-ha in a gothic church.
The 7” single is released as a Record Store Day exclusive in the US on April 17 and will come out digitally on May 5. The band follows up the release with a US tour April 19 to April 29.
